objective of PatriotDrive? |

PatriotDrive
is a nonprofit organization dedicated to using the "Pledge of Allegiance" as a
unifying force. The objective of the site is to help strengthen our collective
resolve in the face of terrorist attacks and threats on our nation, as well as to
memorialize the victims of such attacks. |

What is PatriotDrive's stand with regards to "under God"
in the "Pledge"? |

We want to
bring Americans together. We feel strongly that the "Pledge" should be a unifying
force in America in whatever form the people, through their elected representatives,
choose. The congress of the United States has added the words "under God" to the
"Pledge of Allegiance" in 1954. We support the wish of the people. |

What are the
political affiliations of the site? |

PatriotDrive
has no official Political affiliation, although we support our President in the war on
terrorism and stand behind our military. One of the cherished rights of Americans is the
ability to hold differing political views while being united as Americans.
For this reason the site is apolitical. |

Can I just
sign the "Pledge" without contributing to the "Mural" and the site? |

Yes. The chief
reason for the site is to gather "Digital signatures" for the "Patriots Mural". We added
the commemorative copies of the pledge as a way to facilitate this goal and also in
response to the many requests. |

Why do I need
to provide an email address? |

Checking
the validity of email addresses helps cut down on the number of
fraudulent signatures. There are people out there hoping to undermine
the site and what it stands for by trying to insert inappropriate
names and words into the "Patriots Mural". |

How is my contribution used? |

All contributions
go towards the cost of the "Patriots Mural" display, the maintenance of the site, the
newsletter and the cost and distribution of the copies. |

not! We do not purchase "lists" nor do we share information with
other organizations. |

It
takes a certain amount of time for the site managers to check the
validity of a name. Come back in an hour and you'll be there. |

cannot be guaranteed at this point because the names are entered in the order they
are submitted. Your best chance of having the names next to or close to each other is to
enter them immediately one after each other. |
